Why this matters here

Note also what the statement does not say: "during park hours" ties the lights to the park's schedule rather than promising a fixed cut-off, and Austin publishes the hours separately per venue, so read the two together. How late can I actually play?

It depends on the venue, because the lighting is tied to park hours and Austin publishes those per venue. Most of the lit venues run to 10 p.m. seven days a week. South Austin Neighborhood Park runs 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; the Austin Tennis and Pickleball Center closes at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9 p.m. at weekends; Pan American runs to 10 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but only to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, when roller derby takes the courts.

Are the unlisted venues unlit?

Unknown. Ten Austin venues carry no lighting statement on the City's page. That reads as "not stated" rather than "No", because a silence is not a denial.

Which lit venue has the most courts?
