Three dedicated outdoor pickleball courts at the tennis centre attached to Austin High, just west of downtown on Cesar Chavez. What makes this venue different from every other one in Austin is who else has a claim on it: the City states that "the courts at this facility are shared through an agreement between the City of Austin and Austin Independent School District (AISD)", which is why the opening hours follow the school calendar rather than park hours.
Twenty-one of Austin's sixty courts are dedicated pickleball rather than lines on a shared slab, and three of them are here. It is also one of eleven lit venues, and the only one in the whole directory whose opening hours are set by a school district agreement rather than by a parks department. Availability depends on whether Austin schools are in session.
2001 W. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78703, which the Census geocoder matched to Austin city, Travis County. It is on the river just west of the centre, which makes it one of the most central venues in this directory's Austin set. The City publishes nothing about parking.
Read the calendar before you go. During the school year the courts open to the public on weekday evenings only, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Through the summer months they run seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. During term the school has the daytime. The courts are lit during park hours, so the evening window is real. Nothing is published about nets, surface or cost.

Three, all dedicated pickleball courts rather than lines on a multi-purpose slab. The City's entry reads "3 Dedicated Outdoor Courts".

Yes. The City marks this venue "Lighted during park hours". With term-time play starting at 5:30 p.m., the lighting is what makes the venue usable for much of the year.
Not stated. Austin states that a net is not provided at three venues and this is not one of them, so the answer here is unknown.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
