A Pickleball Directory You Can Trust

We would rather list fewer courts and get them right. Every court marked “verified” has been checked against a real source, usually the city parks department that runs it, and each listing shows who that source is and when we last looked. Courts we have not checked yet are clearly labelled “unverified” instead of being mixed in.

    Checked against a real source

Before a court is marked verified, we find out who actually runs it, usually the city parks department, and check the details against what they have published.

You can see when we last checked

Every listing shows the date we last looked at it, so you can judge for yourself how fresh the information is before you drive over.

    No guessing

If nobody has published a detail, such as whether a court has lights, we say “Not stated” rather than guess. An honest blank beats a guess that sends you to a dark court.

New to pickleball?

Learn How to Play Pickleball

What pickleball is, how it compares to tennis, and the handful of rules that trip up every beginner at least once.

Gear up

Pickleball Gear Guide: Paddles, Balls, Shoes and More

New to the game or upgrading your bag? Here is what most players buy first, in the order they usually buy it, and what each category actually does for your game.

  • Pickleball Paddles

The paddle — sometimes searched as a "pickleball racket" — is the single biggest upgrade a new player makes. Weight, grip size and core material change how the ball feels off the face more than anything else in the bag.

  • Pickleballs

Indoor and outdoor balls are not interchangeable. Outdoor balls are heavier, with smaller, more numerous holes built to cut through wind; indoor balls are lighter and fly faster on a smooth gym floor.

  • Pickleball Shoes

Running shoes are built for forward motion, not the side-to-side stops a court demands. A proper pair of pickleball shoes is usually the second upgrade a player makes, right after a paddle.

  • Pickleball Bags

Enough room for two paddles, a sleeve of balls, a water bottle and a change of shirt — the difference between one bag and a pile of gear on the bench.

  • Pickleball Nets

For driveways, gyms and parks with no permanent net. A regulation-height portable net turns any flat court-sized space into a place to play — see our court dimensions guide for the exact spec.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about our pickleball court directory, verified listings, and how we keep venue information current.

How do I find pickleball courts near me?

Search by city, state, ZIP code, or court name to find pickleball courts and venues near you. You can also browse our directory by state and city.

Are the pickleball courts on PickleballCourtsGuide verified?

Venues marked "Verified" have been checked against a named source, with the source and date shown on the listing. The directory also includes listings imported from public directory data that we have not independently confirmed yet — those are clearly labelled unverified rather than mixed in with verified ones.

How often is court information updated?

We record when listing information was last reviewed and update it when new reliable information becomes available. Court details can change, so always check the venue's current information before visiting.

What information can I find about a pickleball court?

Depending on the venue, listings may include the address, number of courts, indoor or outdoor courts, lighting, access details, hours, amenities, and other useful information.

Can I search for indoor or outdoor pickleball courts?

Yes. Where the information has been verified, you can use available filters to narrow your search by court characteristics such as indoor, outdoor, lighting, or access.

What should I do if I find incorrect information?

If you notice outdated or incorrect information, you can report the listing to us. We'll review the information and make corrections when they can be confirmed through a reliable source.

Can I submit a pickleball court that isn't listed?

Yes. If you know of a pickleball venue that isn't in our directory, you can submit it through our listing submission form. New listings are reviewed before they are published.

Why does some court information show as unavailable?

We don't fill missing information with guesses. When a detail cannot be confirmed from a reliable source, we leave it unavailable until we can verify it.
