Two pickleball courts striped onto one multi-purpose outdoor court in the Cherrywood neighbourhood of central east Austin, lit during park hours and running the standard open-play schedule of seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is one of the eleven Austin venues the City marks as lit, and one of the more central of those, which in a city where the sensible summer playing time is after sunset makes it more useful than its two courts suggest.
Two courts, lit, full hours, central location: Patterson is the most ordinary good venue in Austin, and that is a description rather than faint praise. Within a short distance are Shipe, with the same offer, and Pan American and Rosewood with four courts each, which makes central-east Austin the best-served part of the city.
4200 Brookview Rd., Austin, Texas 78722, matched by the Census geocoder to Austin city, Travis County. Brookview Road is in Cherrywood, just east of the university and north of Pan American. Shipe Neighborhood Park, also two courts and also lit, is a short distance west in Hyde Park, and Hancock Recreation Center's court is between the two, though Hancock keeps far more restricted hours. No parking guidance is published.
One slab, two courts, floodlit, open until 10 p.m. every day. Two courts on a shared multi-purpose surface means a group of eight will queue and another sport can take the venue entirely, but the central location and confirmed lighting make this a reliable evening option. Nothing is published about the surface, about nets, or about cost.

Yes. "Lighted during park hours" appears in this venue's entry.
Shipe Neighborhood Park, two courts and also lit, in Hyde Park to the west; Pan American Neighborhood Park, four courts and lit, to the south, though Pan American loses its courts to roller derby on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and weekend mornings.
Not stated. This is not one of the three Austin venues that state a net is not provided.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
