Pickleball at Norman Clayton Park in Madison, WI. Every fact below shows where it came from and when we checked it. 5 of 22 fields are confirmed, and the rest say so rather than guessing.

Placeholder image, not a photograph of this venue. We have not photographed Norman Clayton Park, and we would rather show a marked stand-in than a picture that implies we have. The correction link below reaches the same queue a photograph would.
Two courts on asphalt at one of the smallest parks in this set: 3.44 acres on Madison's west side. The City's page is unusually sparse about the park itself. What it does record is a second way in, noting access at "6402 Piping Rock Road, also path between 6410 & 6502 Piping Rock Road", which is the kind of detail that matters at a pocket park where the obvious frontage may not be the one nearest the courts. The pickleball is two tennis courts carrying pickleball lines.
6401 Shoreham Dr., Madison, WI 53711 is the address the City lists for the courts, and the Census geocoder matched it to Madison city, Dane County. The park page also names access from Piping Rock Road, including a path between two house numbers, so on a 3.44-acre site it is worth knowing which side you are approaching from. No parking guidance is published.
Two shared courts, first come first served, tennis net at tennis height, no lighting on record. On three and a half acres there is very little else here. The City lists no shelter, no restroom and no other courts, so this is a venue you go to in order to play rather than to spend an afternoon. Nakoma Park is a mile or so away with a single court; Westmorland Park has two on tile. No hours or parking guidance is published either.

| Court availability | A tennis court striped for pickleball. Madison states that its dual-striped courts "use a tennis net which is about 2" taller than a standard pickleball net", so the net you play over here is a tennis net at tennis height. Individuals play first come, first served; leagues and lessons must reserve in advance. | cityofmadison.com | 2026-09-04 |

Two, on asphalt: "Tennis & Pickleball / Courts: 2, asphalt" on the park's own page.
3.44 acres, the smallest park published in Madison, smaller than Reynolds Park's 3.58 and Waunona's 5.13.
If you live nearby, yes. If you are crossing the city, Garner Park's six dedicated courts or Brittingham Park's four give a group somewhere to rotate, which two courts on three acres does not.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
