Pickleball at Kennedy Park in Madison, WI. Every fact below shows where it came from and when we checked it. 5 of 22 fields are confirmed, and the rest say so rather than guessing.

Placeholder image, not a photograph of this venue. We have not photographed Kennedy Park, and we would rather show a marked stand-in than a picture that implies we have. The correction link below reaches the same queue a photograph would.
Two courts on asphalt at a 22.72-acre east-side park that the City describes as "a popular location for youth soccer leagues and neighborhood children playing on the play equipment or riding their bikes on the trail going through the park and to Kennedy Elementary School". That is a fair warning about the character of the place on a Saturday morning: the pickleball is two tennis courts striped for the sport, on a site whose main business is youth sport and a school route.
5202 Retana Dr., Madison, WI 53714, matched by the Census geocoder to Madison city, Dane County. The park has a trail running through it and on to Kennedy Elementary School, which the City mentions, so arriving on foot or by bike from the surrounding neighbourhood is a normal way to get here. Nothing is published about parking.
Two shared courts, first come first served, tennis net at tennis height. Lighting is not stated. The soccer leagues the City names do not compete for the courts, but they compete for the park, so expect the site to be busy in youth-sport season even when the courts are free. Heritage Heights Park, also two courts, is the nearest published alternative if they are not.

| Court availability | A tennis court striped for pickleball. Madison states that its dual-striped courts "use a tennis net which is about 2" taller than a standard pickleball net", so the net you play over here is a tennis net at tennis height. Individuals play first come, first served; leagues and lessons must reserve in advance. | cityofmadison.com | 2026-09-04 |

Two, on asphalt: "Tennis & Pickleball / Courts: 2, asphalt".
Yes, like nineteen of Madison's twenty outdoor venues. You play over the tennis net, which Madison notes is about two inches taller than a pickleball net.
Not stated. The City's page for this park does not list them.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
