Pickleball at Bordner Park in Madison, WI. Every fact below shows where it came from and when we checked it. 5 of 22 fields are confirmed, and the rest say so rather than guessing.
5610 Elder Pl, Madison, WI
Placeholder image, not a photograph of this venue. We have not photographed Bordner Park, and we would rather show a marked stand-in than a picture that implies we have. The correction link below reaches the same queue a photograph would.
Two courts on asphalt, on a 6.47-acre neighbourhood park on Madison's west side. The City describes Bordner as "the perfect location for nearby residents, families, and people of all ages", with basketball courts, an open field for a pick-up game of soccer, a playground, and the tennis courts that carry the pickleball lines. That last detail is the one to hold on to: like nineteen of Madison's twenty outdoor pickleball venues, this is a tennis court with pickleball markings on it rather than a pickleball court.
5610 Elder Pl., Madison, WI 53705, which the Census geocoder matched cleanly to Madison city, Dane County. The City publishes nothing about parking at any of its pickleball venues, and on a park of this size (under seven acres, in a residential street grid) the realistic expectation is street parking rather than a lot. Nothing on the park page confirms it either way.
Two courts, shared with tennis, played over a tennis net Madison notes is about two inches taller than a standard pickleball net. Individuals play first come, first served; leagues and lessons must reserve in advance, and the City does not publish where those bookings appear. Lighting is not stated here, so plan for daylight. With two courts and a neighbourhood catchment, this is a venue for a pair or two rather than a group. No restrooms, shelter, parking or hours are published for Bordner.

Thanks. Your review is in the queue: a person reads every one before it appears here, so it will not show up straight away.
That review did not go through. It needs a star rating, a name and at least twenty characters of text.

| Court availability | A tennis court striped for pickleball. Madison states that its dual-striped courts "use a tennis net which is about 2" taller than a standard pickleball net", so the net you play over here is a tennis net at tennis height. Two, on asphalt. The City states it in one line on the park's own page, under the heading "Tennis & Pickleball": "Courts: 2, asphalt".
No. They are tennis courts striped for pickleball, which is how nineteen of Madison's twenty outdoor venues work. Garner Park has the city's only dedicated outdoor pickleball courts.
Not stated. Only Tenney Park's courts are marked lighted on Madison's pickleball list; every other venue including this one is unknown rather than confirmed dark.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
