About this place

Three pickleball courts in a community park south-east of downtown, alongside ballfields, a playground, a picnic shelter and restrooms that the City replaced in 2026.

Read moreShow less

All three courts are open play. The City states: "The pickleball courts are available for drop in use only." The posted rotation rule is the simple one: if the courts are full and players are waiting, play one game to 11 points and rotate off.

The count of three comes from Kirkland's pickleball page, which lists "3 pickleball courts" here. The park's own page mentions its pickleball courts several times and never says how many there are. Nothing contradicts the figure, but it rests on one City record rather than two.

Getting there

500 8th St S, Kirkland, WA 98033, in King County.

This is the best-documented parking of any venue on this site, and the credit belongs entirely to the City for writing it down: "There are two parking lots at Everest with space for up to 100 vehicles." The City does not say whether parking costs anything or when it fills, and a park with ballfields can fill for reasons that have nothing to do with pickleball. There are year-round restrooms.

What to expect

Three open-play courts, 8 a.m. to dusk, every day, free of any charge the City mentions, though note that it never actually says the courts are free, so this site does not claim it. The "Free Play" heading on this park's page is field time on the grass and synthetic turf, offered March to October and year-round respectively. It is about the fields, not the courts.

You cannot book a court. Kirkland runs its classes and leagues elsewhere and prohibits business use of its pickleball courts.

Lighting is not stated, and with a dusk closing time there is no evening session to light. The surface is not stated, and this venue carries no renovation date to hint at its age.

Court availability
Three pickleball courts in a community park south-east of downtown, open 8 a.m. to dusk and drop-in only - the park's own page says so in as many words: "The pickleball courts are available for drop in use only." All three are open play courts, and the City's rule for them is the one it posts city-wide: if the courts are full and players are waiting, play one game to 11 points and rotate off. Parking is the best-documented of any venue on this site - the City states "There are two parking lots at Everest with space for up to 100 vehicles" - and there are year-round restrooms, replaced in 2026, plus ballfields, a playground and a picnic shelter. One caveat belongs here rather than buried: the count of three comes from the City's pickleball page alone. The park's own page names the pickleball courts repeatedly and never says how many there are.

Questions about Everest Park

Can I book a court?

No. The courts are drop-in use only and first-come, first-served across the whole city.

What are the hours?

8 a.m. to dusk, daily, the same as every Kirkland pickleball court.

Do you run Everest Park?

What claiming does and does not doShow less

You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.

It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.

Something wrong here?

If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
