About this place

Four courts with portable nets on the shared tennis courts of a 34-acre park, one of the busiest public spaces in Bellevue. The City describes it as sitting "in one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in Bellevue", where "you will likely hear dozens of languages being spoken, but the common language is play". The park holds a water spray playground, a par-3 golf course with foot golf, the Bellevue Youth Theatre, community gardens and a skate bowl. It is also home to Crossroads Community Center, which has three indoor pickleball courts of its own, published separately because the City gives the centre its own street address.

999 164th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98008. The park page lists parking among its amenities, which tells you a car park exists and nothing about whether it is full on a Saturday. The community centre in the same park has a different published address, 16000 NE 10th St, so if you are meeting someone, agree which of the two you mean.

What to expect

Portable nets on shared tennis courts, under the City's stated default: "Bellevue's pickleball courts are shared use with tennis courts, unless otherwise noted." Four courts is the joint-largest outdoor count in the city, so this is one of the few Bellevue venues where a group can rotate. Restrooms are listed. Lighting is not stated. If the outdoor courts are taken, the indoor drop-in at the community centre in the same park is the obvious fallback. The City uses both names. Its pickleball page says "Crossroads Community Park"; the park's own page is headed "Crossroads Park" and gives that name in its contact block. The name from the park's own record is published here.

Do I need to bring a net?

Probably. "Portable nets" describes the nets, not who supplies them, and the City does not say. The only Bellevue venue that states it provides nets is South Bellevue Community Center.
