Park West has ten of Mount Pleasant's nineteen courts at one address: six in the gym on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and listed autumn Sundays, and four lit tennis courts outside that host the Town's Monday to Wednesday evening group. Free on both sides of the door. Nets are provided in the gym and lent from the Program Building on weekdays outside; bring your own after 5:00 p.m.
The Deb Gym at Town Hall has four free indoor courts on three weekday sessions, Monday afternoon and Wednesday and Friday mornings, with nets provided and a sign-in at the door. Plan for two courts rather than four between September 18 and October 31, when the Town gives the floor to volleyball season, and check its closure dates, which include Veterans Day and the day after Thanksgiving.
Miriam Brown Community Center is the one Mount Pleasant venue with a session every day of the week: an open play group from 7:00 to 11:00 am, Monday to Sunday, on four free outdoor courts. Nets come from the G.M. Darby Building on weekdays. The Town prints when not to come in capitals: no open play while the community centre is open, with the hours given by season.
The Town publishes nothing about parking at any of these four sites. The word does not appear anywhere on its pickleball page, and this page does not fill the gap from a map.
What the Town does publish is where you check in. Every gym session begins at a desk: "All players MUST sign in" at Park West Gym and at The Deb Gym at Town Hall, which sits inside the Municipal Complex at 100 Ann Edwards Lane.

The Town does not say when its courts are busy, but it prints a session for every venue.
Park West Gym runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, plus eight Sunday mornings listed by date. The Deb Gym runs Mondays 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Wednesdays 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Senior Center's one court is in use Tuesday and Thursday 3:00 to 4:50 pm and Friday 3:00 to 5:50 pm.
The evening belongs to the Park West tennis courts, where an organised group meets every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and a spot is reserved on the TeamReach app with the code 29466. Miriam Brown is the mirror image: open play every morning of the week, 7:00 to 11:00 am, and none at all while the community centre is open.

The Town names no surface for any court in Mount Pleasant, and says nothing about resurfacing, cracks or condition.
Eleven of the nineteen courts are in gymnasiums: shared floors that become pickleball courts when the nets go up. The Town's instruction is "Nets are provided for players to set up", and the Deb Gym gives up two of its four courts to volleyball season each autumn.
Outdoors, four of the eight courts are the Park West Tennis Courts, tennis courts first in name and in priority, and the only place the Town states lighting. The other four, at Miriam Brown, get a count and a net rule and nothing else.

Nineteen courts across four Town sites, eleven of them indoors. Mount Pleasant is the first South Carolina city on this site and the first in Charleston County. It is one of seven cities on this site with a free court, and the free ones are the big ones: Park West with ten, The Deb Gym at Town Hall with four, and Miriam Brown Community Center with four.
The fourth site, the Senior Center, has one court and a condition: drop-in play there is for anyone 50 years and older and free for members, with a guest fee of $5 for residents and $10 for everyone else, and nets, balls and paddles provided. The Town is one of the few operators on this site that states the age restriction, the guest fee and the equipment provided at a venue in one paragraph.

Anything an operator does not publish shows as “Not stated” rather than being guessed at, most often surface, fees and opening hours. Many of these courts are very probably free to play, but a belief is not a source, so we do not print it as one.
Nineteen across four Town sites: ten at Park West (six in the gym and four on the lit tennis courts), four at The Deb Gym at Town Hall, four at Miriam Brown Community Center and one at the Senior Center. Eleven are indoor and eight outdoor.
At three of the four venues, yes, in the Town's words: "Drop-in play is free" in the two gyms, and "free and first come, first served" at Miriam Brown and on the Park West tennis courts. The Senior Center is free for members; non members pay $5 if they live in Mount Pleasant and $10 if they do not.
Not at the gym sessions or the Senior Center, where nets are provided. Outdoors the Town lends nets on weekdays, from the Program Building at Park West and the G.M. Darby Building at Miriam Brown. For Park West it adds: "You must provide your own net if playing outside of business hours."
Mount Pleasant sits in Charleston County. Every venue in the county, including these, is listed on Charleston County. There is no South Carolina state page yet either. A state page needs at least three published cities before it is a document rather than a copy of this one, and South Carolina has fewer than that today, so we have not written one.
No other city near Mount Pleasant has three venues yet, so there is nothing to send you across to. We would rather leave the space empty than link you to a page with nothing on it.
Every fact on this page comes from one of these, and each venue names the source behind each of its own fields: Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation Department, checked 2026-09-07 · US Census Bureau, checked 2026-09-07. How we verify.
