Pickleball at Hillside Park in Portland, OR. Every fact below shows where it came from and when we checked it. 7 of 22 fields are confirmed, and the rest say so rather than guessing.

One court. Hillside Park is one of the smallest pickleball venues in this directory, and it is here for the same reason the eight-court sites are: the city states it. The single court is described as 'pickleball only', like the courts at Laurelhurst and Gabriel, and it is free. It is the only outdoor entry on Portland's pickleball page with no amenities line at all. Where the other five parks list restrooms, and four of them water, Hillside's entry ends after "bring your own net". That silence is recorded as not stated rather than as an absence.
653 NW Culpepper Terrace, Portland, OR 97210, in the north-west sextant, up in the west hills. The Census geocoder matched the address to Multnomah County. Culpepper Terrace is a hillside residential street, and the parks department publishes no parking guidance here. A single-court site on a hill street is not somewhere to arrive with a group and no fallback.
One free court, dedicated to pickleball, with your own net required, dawn to dusk, first come first served. With one court, Portland's rule about limiting play to an hour when others are waiting is the whole etiquette of the place, along with its rule that a single player may not hold a court while a partner is on the way. No restrooms are listed. No water is listed. No lighting is stated.

Yes. Portland Parks & Recreation writes "1 outdoor 'pickleball only' hard court", in the singular. It is one of the smallest venues in this directory, and it is published for the same reason as every other: the operator stated it.
Gabriel Park, also on the west side, about 3.8 miles south, with six dedicated courts and nets included. If the single court here is taken, that is the nearest real alternative.
Because the operator stated it, which is the only test this directory applies. A single court in the west hills is useful for someone who lives near it to be able to find. It is listed with the same three sourced facts as everywhere else (count, address, cost) and the same honest blanks for lighting, parking and amenities.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
