About this place
Sanderford Road Park is the largest pickleball site in Raleigh and the largest in this directory's Wake County coverage: ten permanent courts, lit, on a single site in the south-east of the city. That is nearly a quarter of the city's 44 outdoor courts in one park. Raleigh Parks' pickleball page, the department's GIS court inventory and independent pickleball listings all give ten. The department marks the location as permanent courts, and unlike Method and North Hills it does not mark it drop-in only; the park's own page states that court reservations are available here, so some of the ten may be booked when you arrive. The park also holds an outdoor basketball court with four hoops on a concrete surface. If you are new to the city and want the best odds of getting a game, this is the site to try first.

Thanks. Your review is in the queue: a person reads every one before it appears here, so it will not show up straight away.
That review did not go through. It needs a star rating, a name and at least twenty characters of text.
We could not save that review just now. Try again in a little while.

Questions about Sanderford Road Park
Can I reserve a court at Sanderford Road Park?
The park's own page says court reservations are available here, and Raleigh Parks publishes a pickleball court reservation form. Method Community Park and North Hills Park, by contrast, are marked drop-in only. Check the department's monthly pickleball calendar before you travel.
Is there a restroom at Sanderford Road Park?
None is recorded for this park in the city's park amenities inventory. That is published as not stated rather than as a confirmed absence, but plan for it at a ten-court site where you may be there a while.
Do you run Sanderford Road Park?
What claiming does and does not doShow less
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
Something wrong here?
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
