One city in Montgomery County is published here: Rockville, with twelve venues and forty-six courts checked against one City table and twelve City park pages. Rockville is the first city in Maryland and the first in Montgomery County on this site. Montgomery County contains other municipalities and the County runs parks of its own. None of those has been checked against a named source, so none appears anywhere on this site.
What has been read is one operator. The City of Rockville's Pickleball Courts and Programs page carries a table of fourteen parks under the heading "Outdoor Pickleball Courts", with a count and a Lighted answer on every row, and its place pages carry an address for each. Twelve of the fourteen resolve as written in the Census address file, inside Rockville city, Montgomery County, and publish. Two do not: Twinbrook Park, whose "12920 Twinbrook Parkway" resolves in neither address file, and Glenora Park, whose Address block is an intersection.

What we cover in this county is in one city, and within it the courts are spread thin rather than concentrated. No Rockville venue holds more than six courts. Welsh Park has six, Dogwood Park five, and seven parks have four each: Broome Athletic, Fallsgrove, Isreal, Mattie J.T. Stepanek, North Farm, Potomac Woods and Rockville Civic Center. Rockcrest has three, and Calvin and Hillcrest have two.
The split that matters most is dedicated against striped. Twelve of the forty-six are "Dedicated Pickleball Courts" in the City's words, at four venues; thirty-one are "pickleball lines on" tennis courts, at nine; three at Rockcrest are not described either way. A striped court is a court a tennis player can take first, and the City says "bring your own net" on every striped line but one.
Lighting is the best-documented layer in the county, because the City's table has a Lighted column and fills it: four venues Yes, nineteen courts, closing at 10 p.m.; eight venues No, twenty-seven courts, closing at dusk; none blank. Price is the thinnest layer: no venue in the county carries one, because the City prints none and does not write the word free. Hours are one sentence for every court, "open from dawn to dusk and are available on a first-come, first-served basis", with the City's programmes taking priority.

This is a Rockville page wearing the heading of a whole county. No other municipality in Montgomery County has been read, and neither has whatever the County itself operates. A city publishes here once three of its venues carry a named source and a date.
Inside the published city the gaps are specific and they are the City's to close. Twinbrook Park has four lit courts and an address, "12920 Twinbrook Parkway", that neither resolver can find. Glenora Park has four courts and an intersection where a house number should be. Both publish the day the City prints an address that resolves. Three community centres (Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook) are named for drop-in gym pickleball with no court count, so Rockville's indoor pickleball is zero here not because there is none but because the City has not counted it.
Price is stated nowhere. Surface is stated nowhere. Nets are unstated at the two dedicated-only venues and at Dogwood, where the City's two lines disagree.

No honest page can tell you. What has been checked is 46 courts across twelve venues, all in Rockville, all outdoor by the City's heading, each with a source and a date: 12 dedicated, 31 on tennis-court lines, 3 unsplit. The City's own table lists two more parks, with four courts each, that cannot be published.
Broome Athletic Park, Dogwood Park, Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park and Welsh Park, nineteen courts in all, closing at 10 p.m. The other eight Rockville venues are marked No in the City's Lighted column, a stated answer, so twenty-seven courts end at dusk. Twinbrook Park is marked Yes too, but its address does not resolve.
Not stated, at any venue. The City prints no price on its pickleball page or on any park page and does not write the word free. What it writes is the access rule: first-come, first-served, with City programmes taking priority and some courts closed for class use.
We have not built the Maryland state page yet. A state page needs at least three published cities before it is a document rather than a copy of the one city below it, and Maryland has fewer than that today, so there is nothing honest to link up to. Everything above is checked against a named source; how we verify explains the ladder we work down and what we refuse to do.
