Outdoor Pickleball Courts in Naperville, IL
3 venues in Naperville, IL with outdoor courts. Every one has been checked against a named source, and the count above is drawn only from those, never from the imported records we have not confirmed.
Why this matters here
Every pickleball court in Naperville is outdoor, so this page holds the same three venues as the city page: twelve courts at Nike Sports Complex, nine at Ranchview Park and four at Ashbury Park. A court is called outdoor here when the operator calls it outdoor, and the Naperville Park District does, once, on its Park It page: "The District also has outdoor pickleball courts at Dupage River Sports Complex, Nike Sports Complex, Wolf's Crossing and at Ashbury, Knoch and Ranchview parks." That paragraph sits under the heading "Play Pickleball Indoors or Outdoors" and points to the Fort Hill Activity Center for open gym play. In northern Illinois an outdoor court is a seasonal court, and no season and no court hours are stated for any venue here. What the District does state is lighting. Ranchview and Ashbury are "unlit" in its own word. At Nike the eight tennis courts lined for pickleball are "lit" and the four dedicated courts are not described either way. Of the twenty-five outdoor courts here, eight carry a stated light, thirteen a stated absence of one, and four no answer at all.
What puts a venue on this list
A venue appears here when the Park District states that its pickleball courts are outdoor, and it states that for all three published venues in one sentence. Nike Sports Complex, Ranchview Park and Ashbury Park are each named among the six parks with "outdoor pickleball courts", so each carries an outdoor count equal to its total: twelve, nine and four. Nothing published in Naperville is left off this page. The same sentence names three parks that do not publish. Wolf's Crossing Community Park has "4 dedicated pickleball courts and there are 4 lit tennis courts lined for pickleball" at "3252 Wolf's Crossing Road", printed with the postcode 60543, which is Oswego's. DuPage River Sports Complex has "4 lit tennis courts lined for pickleball" at "2807 S Washington Street". Neither the US Census address file nor OpenStreetMap finds either address at house-number level. Knoch Park is named too, and its own page lists "Pickleball" with no number. The Fort Hill Activity Center is the District's indoor pickleball, so it is off this page for the plainest reason of all.

What is deliberately not on this list
Nothing with only indoor courts appears here. Venues whose outdoor court count the operator does not state are also absent, because we do not assume a court is outdoor because we have not been told otherwise.
Questions about this list
Do I need to bring a net to an outdoor court?
At Nike Sports Complex, yes, by the District's statement. At Ashbury Park, no, because the courts use the tennis nets. At Ranchview Park the page says both, so bring one and you are covered either way.
Why is Wolf's Crossing Community Park not on this page?
It has eight courts and the District calls them outdoor, but neither address resolver finds "3252 Wolf's Crossing Road", which the District prints with Oswego's postcode. A venue at an address nobody can locate does not publish.
Wider area
This list exists because at least three verified Naperville venues match it; below three we would not publish the page at all rather than ship a list of one. See every venue in Naperville, or how we verify for the source ladder behind each entry.
