Placeholder image, not a photograph of this venue. We have not photographed North Boulder Recreation Center, and we would rather show a marked stand-in than a picture that implies we have. The correction link below reaches the same queue a photograph would.
Seven pickleball courts at one address, in two places: four outdoor on the tennis courts beside the recreation centre, and three indoor in the gymnasium at scheduled drop-in times.
The four is the City's table figure, "4 pickleball / 4 tennis / Rolling / North Boulder Recreation Center". The three is the pickleball page's indoor line for this centre, "Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 to 10:30 am on 3 indoor courts". The Racket Sports page also offers "Two platform tennis courts with pickleball lines" for overflow here, and those are not counted, because they are platform tennis courts.
The centre's amenity list runs to a basketball court, a pool, a volleyball court, restrooms and RTD Access.
3170 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80304, as the City's location page prints it, with a phone number of 303-413-7260. The US Census address geocoder matched "3170 BROADWAY, BOULDER, CO, 80304" at house-number level and placed it in Boulder County, in the incorporated place Boulder city.
The centre's page answers "Parking" with "Yes" under its ADA Accessibility heading and says no more about it. Restrooms and drinking fountains are listed. The building is open Monday to Friday 5:45 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 6:45 am to 6:00 pm. The outdoor courts are not given hours of their own.
Outdoors, four courts that are "first come and free to all park visitors" unless someone has reserved them, at $10 an hour. Two drop-in windows are scheduled: Tuesday and Thursday 7:30 to 10:30 am, and Wednesday and Friday 6 to 9 pm. That evening session is the only one the City schedules outdoors anywhere in Boulder.
Indoors, three courts in the basketball gymnasium on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, "included with your daily entry fee or pass", and at no other time, because "pickleball nets are not available outside listed drop-in hours".
No surface is stated, and nothing about how busy the courts get.

| Court availability | Seven pickleball courts in two places at one address: four outdoor courts on tennis courts with pickleball lines, and three indoor courts in the gymnasium at scheduled drop-in times. The four outdoor courts are the City's table figure - "4 pickleball / 4 tennis" - and the City calls them outdoor in its drop-in schedule: "Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:30 to 10:30 am on 4 outdoor courts" and "Wednesdays and Fridays: 6 to 9 pm on 4 outdoor courts". Outside those windows the courts are first come and free, or reservable at $10 an hour. Indoors, "Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 to 10:30 am on 3 indoor courts", included with the centre's daily entry fee or pass, and the City says nets are not available outside the listed hours. The centre also has "Two platform tennis courts with pickleball lines" for overflow, which are not counted here. Lighting: the City says only that lights are not guaranteed after sunset and that complimentary light timers sit near Tennis Court 1, so no lighting answer is published. | bouldercolorado.gov | 2026-09-07 |

Outdoors, yes: "Courts are first come and free to all park visitors", with a $10 an hour reservation optional. Indoor drop-in is "included with your daily entry fee or pass", so it costs whatever the door costs.
Not stated. The City places complimentary light timers near Tennis Court 1 here and says lights are not guaranteed after sunset, which is not a lighting answer for the pickleball courts.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
