Carpenter Park is a 16-acre neighbourhood park in north-west Cary whose three pickleball courts share their surface with basketball. The town states it directly in the features list: "Multi-Sport Courts: Basketball & 3 Pickleball Courts". That is a useful piece of honesty. You are playing on multi-sport slabs, and the lines under your feet are not all yours.
The park is also the memorial site for Flights AE3379 and AE3378, and it holds a central pond with an earthen dam, a community garden, a terraced lawn, preserved forest and pedestrian trails.
4420 Louis Stephens Drive, and the town publishes "Parking for 30 Cars". That is the only parking capacity any operator in this directory has given us, and it is worth reading against what else is at the park: a playground, a community garden, a picnic shelter, trails and a memorial all draw on the same thirty spaces as the courts. There is a restroom structure on site. No time limit, permit requirement or fee is published for the parking.
Three courts, shared with basketball, on multi-sport slabs. Expect that sharing to matter: a basketball game has as much claim on the surface as you do, and with three courts a queue builds quickly at a neighbourhood park this size.
Park hours are sunrise to sunset, extended in lighted areas where visitors are taking part in an approved extended-use activity until thirty minutes after it ends or 11 p.m. at the latest. The picnic shelter at the playground is first-come, first-served rather than reservable. No surface material, nets or fee is published for the courts.

Thanks. Your review is in the queue: a person reads every one before it appears here, so it will not show up straight away.
That review did not go through. It needs a star rating, a name and at least twenty characters of text.
We could not save that review just now. Try again in a little while.

Not on anything the town has published. The extension to park hours applies only in lighted areas during approved extended-use activities, and the page does not state that the pickleball courts themselves are lit, so lighting here is recorded as not stated. Of Cary's three parks, only the Neighborhood Park on McCrimmon Parkway has lighted pickleball courts stated outright.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
