Outdoor Pickleball Courts in Apex, NC
4 venues in Apex, NC with outdoor courts. Every one has been checked against a named source, and the count above is drawn only from those, never from the imported records we have not confirmed.
Why this matters here
Apex is the first city in this directory where outdoor is a stated fact rather than an inference. Everywhere else we have read the setting (sunrise-to-sunset hours, a features list full of playgrounds and trails) and concluded the courts must be outdoors. The Town of Apex simply prints a column headed Indoor / Outdoor and fills it in for every facility, so this page carries the four it marks Outdoor and excludes the one it marks Indoor. That exclusion is worth a sentence, because the venue it removes is genuinely notable: the John M. Brown Community Center holds the first indoor pickleball courts on record anywhere on this site. It does not appear here, and it does not get an /indoor/ page of its own either, because a filter page needs three qualifying venues to be a document rather than a redirect with extra steps. One indoor venue is a fact on a city page, not a category.
What puts a venue on this list
A venue appears here when the Town of Apex's own court table marks it Outdoor. Four do: Pleasant Park, Kelly Road Park, the Seymour Athletic Fields and Apex Community Park. For each of them the outdoor court count is recorded as equal to the total, because the table gives one figure per facility and states that figure's setting in the same row. What is deliberately not recorded is a zero for indoor courts at any of these four. The table says what each facility's pickleball is, not that the site has no indoor court of any kind, and at Pleasant Park that distinction is real, because the park has a field house with rentable rooms. An absence of evidence is not a checked zero. The one venue this page excludes is excluded on the same authority that includes the others: the town marks the John M. Brown Community Center Indoor, and lists it once, so its four courts are recorded as four indoor and zero outdoor. That is the town's own inventory rather than our reading of it, and it is the only place in this directory where a zero outdoor count is published at all.

What is deliberately not on this list
Nothing with only indoor courts appears here. Venues whose outdoor court count the operator does not state are also absent, because we do not assume a court is outdoor because we have not been told otherwise.
Questions about this list
Are all of Apex's pickleball courts outdoor?
No, and Apex is the only city here where we can say that with a citation. The town's court table marks four facilities Outdoor and one, the John M. Brown Community Center, Indoor. Those four indoor courts were the first indoor pickleball courts in this directory.
Which outdoor Apex court is biggest?
Pleasant Park, with six. It is also the only unlit one, and its published court hours are sunrise to thirty minutes after sunset, so its size and its usefulness after work point in opposite directions.
Can I book an outdoor court in Apex?
No. The town states that courts cannot be reserved by players or groups, only by its Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources department for sponsored programmes, and that organised league play and private lessons outside town programming are not allowed per Town Ordinance.

This list exists because at least three verified Apex venues match it; below three we would not publish the page at all rather than ship a list of one. See every venue in Apex, or how we verify for the source ladder behind each entry.
