Apex Community Park is the town's big general-purpose park, 160 acres with a lake of over 50 acres, and its pickleball is the smallest of the four outdoor sites at three courts. What it gives up in number it gains in certainty and in light. The park's own features list states "3 lighted pickleball courts" in a single line, which is the most direct statement of both count and lighting anywhere in Apex, and the town's court table agrees. The courts sit in a park that also carries tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, street hockey, ball fields and more than three miles of trails.
2200 Laura Duncan Road for the park entrance. No parking capacity or restriction is published. Restroom facilities are on site, and park hours are 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. year round. A renovation of the playground next to the baseball fields was in its design phase as of 20 August 2026, adding ADA-accessible ramps and walkways to the adjacent parking lots, with no completion date announced.
Three lit courts, open until 10 p.m. year round, in a park with a great deal else going on. Three courts is few enough that a busy evening will mean waiting, and there is no way to shorten the wait by booking: the town states courts cannot be reserved by players or groups, only by its own department for sponsored programmes, and bans organised league play and private lessons outside town programming under Town Ordinance. What the town does not publish here is a surface, a statement about nets, or a fee.

The park entrance at 2200 Laura Duncan Road. The park publishes a second entrance, the Lake Trail entrance at 1808 Lake Pine Drive, which serves the lake and trails rather than the courts.
A great deal: six tennis courts, two basketball courts, three sand volleyball courts, two street hockey rinks, three ball fields with batting cages reserved for league play, a fitness course, playgrounds, restrooms, over three miles of trails, and a 50-plus acre lake with an accessible fishing dock and a vessel launch.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
