The John M. Brown Community Center holds the first indoor pickleball courts on record anywhere in this directory. Four of them, on the Town Hall campus at 53 Hunter Street, and the town's court table marks them Indoor and lit. It also attaches the restriction that defines the venue: they are "available only for ages 55+, during designated open gym hours". This is not a drop-in gym for everyone, and the town publishes a separate Senior 55+ Indoor Pickleball Calendar for what hours those are.
The facility was formerly known as the Apex Community Center. The building itself is a rentable community centre with three large rooms separated by partition walls, an arts and crafts room and a catering kitchen, with rates from $24 to $101 an hour depending on the room, the day and whether you live in Apex.
53 Hunter Street, on the Town Hall Campus. The town publishes no parking guidance specific to the centre and no restroom flag that could be checked, though it is a staffed public building with rentable rooms. The building's own opening hours are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., closed on Sundays from June through Labor Day.
Indoor pickleball, if you are 55 or over and you come at the right time. The building's hours are known, but pickleball runs "during designated open gym hours", which is a subset of them, so no court hours are published here. Check the Senior 55+ Indoor Pickleball Calendar the town publishes for this facility before travelling. As everywhere in Apex, the courts cannot be reserved by players or groups. The town publishes no surface material, no statement about nets and no fee for the pickleball itself.

Players aged 55 and over, during designated open gym hours. That restriction comes from the town's own court table, and it publishes a separate Senior 55+ Indoor Pickleball Calendar for the schedule.
Yes, at the time of writing. Every other venue in this directory is outdoors. Raleigh runs indoor open play at thirteen community centres and Cary rents three indoor courts at Middle Creek, but neither publishes what is needed here: Raleigh gives no per-centre court count and Cary gives no street address.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
