The park's own page is titled DeForest Park and Wetlands and lists "Pickleball Courts" among its amenities, alongside a basketball court, a community centre, futsal courts, a playground, a softball field, a sand volleyball court and restrooms. The site is 49.6 acres in all, of which the City owns 15. The remaining 34.91 acres is the DeForest Nature Trail, restored as freshwater wetlands and reopened on 30 June 2018.
