Four outdoor pickleball courts in the oldest park on this site's Louisville pages. The park page describes it in the City's own words: "planned by Frederick Law Olmsted as a 'scenic reservation' of forested hillsides and breathtaking vistas", with "the WPA-era Iroquois Amphitheater, an open-air theater that accommodates 2,366 people".
The park was acquired in 1888 and is 725.85 acres, the second largest published venue in Louisville after McNeely Lake. Its amenity list runs from an amphitheatre and archery through disc golf, golf, hiking and horse riding trails to pickleball, restrooms, a sprayground and tennis. Pickleball is one word on that list, without a count; the four is the pickleball page's.
5216 New Cut Rd, Louisville, KY 40214. The US Census address geocoder matched the address at house-number level and placed it in "Louisville city", the name the Census uses for addresses inside the pre-merger city. The City publishes nothing about parking. Restrooms are on the amenity list, and on a park of over seven hundred acres the address is an entrance rather than the courts.
Four courts is two games at once, or a group of eight rotating without much waiting. The City publishes no session, no schedule and no rotation rule, so who is on the courts and when is not on the record. Hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the park page, and lighting, price, surface and nets are all unstated. The courts are outdoor because the City's list introduces every count as an outdoor count.
What is stated is the setting, and the City is unusually willing to describe it. Of the sixteen venues on this site's Louisville pages only Iroquois, McNeely Lake and Hays Kennedy get more than a line of description from the City. Expect a court that is a small part of a very large park.

Four, on the City's pickleball page. The park's own page lists pickleball among its amenities without a count.
That it was planned by Frederick Law Olmsted as a 'scenic reservation' of forested hillsides, has a WPA-era open-air amphitheatre for 2,366 people, was acquired in 1888 and is 725.85 acres.
Not stated. The City publishes no price for any Louisville pickleball court, and this site does not assume a park court is free.
You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.
It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.
If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
