About this place

Twenty-one lighted pickleball courts, which is one of the largest counts at any single venue in this directory. The City lists them alongside sixteen lighted tennis courts and four sand volleyball courts, all open to the public and available for rental.

This is a staffed racquet-sports centre, not a park that happens to have lines painted on it. There is a pro shop, and the City's rules state that "Court fees must be paid inside pro shop before using the facility. Unauthorized use of the facility is considered trespassing." Non-marking shoes are required, and ball machines are for hire at $18.00 per hour.

Getting there

4125 E McKellips Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215, in north-east Mesa. The Census geocoder matched the address at house-number level and placed it in Mesa city, Maricopa County. The City publishes a phone number for the Center directly, 480-644-3874, and an email address.

On parking the City says nothing at all: no lot, no space count, no fee. What it does make clear is that arriving here is not a walk-on. You check in at the front desk before your reservation, and you pay at the pro shop before you play.

What to expect

The Center's hours have a hole in the middle of the day. It is open 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every day, and then again 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday it does not reopen at all.

The City warns that "Tournaments, league and lesson programming, special events, or maintenance may limit court space for the general public", so the published hours are an outer limit rather than a guarantee.

The courts are lit; that word is the City's own. What the City never says, here or anywhere in Mesa, is whether these courts are indoor or outdoor, so this site does not say either.

Court availability
Twenty-one lighted pickleball courts, the largest count at any single venue in this directory, alongside sixteen lighted tennis courts and four sand volleyball courts. This is a staffed City facility with a pro shop rather than a park with lines painted on it: courts are reservable online up to two weeks ahead, and the City writes that "Court fees must be paid inside pro shop before using the facility." Play costs $9.00 per court per hour before 5 PM and $13.00 after. The Center stands inside Gene Autry Park and shares its street address, which is why the park itself is not listed separately here. The City does not say whether these courts are indoor or outdoor, so this directory does not say either.

Do you run Mesa Tennis & Pickleball Center?

What claiming does and does not doShow less

You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.

It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.

Something wrong here?

If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
