About this place

Four pickleball courts that are pickleball courts and nothing else. Oakbrook Community Park is the only outdoor pickleball site the City of Vancouver publishes a court count for, and two sentences answer almost every practical question: four dedicated courts, open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., open play for all skill levels, and they cannot be reserved. Nets and poles are permanently installed. And then the sentence that makes this venue unusual in this entire directory: "The courts do not have lighting", which is the first time any operator we have read has stated a negative about lights rather than saying nothing at all.

Getting there

3103 NE 99th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98662, just west of Interstate 205 in the Oakbrook neighbourhood of central Vancouver. The City's pickleball page prints this same address again for Fisher Basin Community Park, a different park on the other side of the city. Oakbrook's is the correct one: its own park page prints 3103 NE 99th Ave, and the Census geocoder matched it cleanly to Vancouver city, Clark County.

The City publishes nothing about parking here. It does publish a number to ring if the court is broken: 360-487-8177, or the Public Works request form for Grounds service.

What to expect

Turn up with a paddle. Nets and poles are already there, the courts are open play for every skill level, and there is no booking system to negotiate. The City says outright that these courts cannot be reserved, that its courts are first come, first served, and that players rotate in using the paddle rack system. Scheduling apps like PlayTime Scheduler or Pickleheads may help you find a game but do not reserve court time here.

The hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and with no lights the back half of those hours belongs to summer.

Thanks. Your review is in the queue: a person reads every one before it appears here, so it will not show up straight away.

That review did not go through. It needs a star rating, a name and at least twenty characters of text.

Questions about Oakbrook Community Park

Do the courts have lights?

No. The City states it plainly: "The courts do not have lighting." That is a statement rather than a silence, which is why this reads No instead of "not stated".

Is it free?

Not stated. It is a City park with open-play courts and it is very likely free, but the City never says so, and this directory does not print a likelihood as a fact.

Do you run Oakbrook Community Park?

What claiming does and does not doShow less

You can claim this listing and correct anything on it. To be clear about what claiming does and does not do: it gives you control of your own facts and a channel to reach us, and it is shown on the page as confirmed by the venue with the date you confirmed it.

It does not mark the listing verified, because a claim tells us who you are rather than checking what is here, and those are different things. It also buys no ranking, no sorting and no placement advantage over an unclaimed venue. The moment claiming bought position this would be an advertising product rather than a directory, and the whole promise would be gone.

Something wrong here?

If you play here and this is out of date, tell us. Corrections come with a source and a date attached, the same as everything else, and a correction that changes a court count gets checked against the city record before it goes live.
