About this place

Mt. Baker Park carries four courts striped for tennis and pickleball, and it is the only one of the three restricted-hours sites that also has lights. The city recorded lighting here, and then in September 2025 capped play at 10 p.m. after noise studies with the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections found sound levels above the limits in Seattle Municipal Code chapter 25.08. So the lights exist and the clock still stops. Of the five lit venues among the twenty-four Seattle sites, this is the one where the lights are least useful late.
