Outdoor Pickleball Courts in Wichita, KS
7 venues in Wichita, KS with outdoor courts. Every one has been checked against a named source, and the count above is drawn only from those, never from the imported records we have not confirmed.
Why this matters here
Five Wichita venues hold outdoor pickleball courts, and thirty-one of the city's fifty-three courts are at them. The City drew the line itself. Four of the five sit on the Parks tab under a heading that begins "Outdoor courts", and the fifth, Riverside Tennis Center, has its own tab that says "9 outdoors with court lights for night play". This site publishes an indoor-or-outdoor answer only when an operator states one, and Wichita states it for every venue on one page. Outdoor and indoor are documented in opposite ways in this city. The indoor courts are temporary, laid out in a gym for drop-in sessions whose hours sit in two PDFs this site has not read. An outdoor court is there whenever the park is open, on a record that does not say when that is: no hours for any park, no lighting at four of the five, and no price anywhere. The two largest sets in Wichita, Edgemoor Park's twelve courts and Riverside's nine lit ones, are both on this side of the line.
What puts a venue on this list
A venue appears here when the City of Wichita's Pickleball page places it under a heading or a line that says its courts are outdoors. Five qualify. Edgemoor Park, Buffalo Park, Osage Park and Seneca Park are the four parks on the Parks tab under "Outdoor courts with hard / concrete surfaces", with twelve, two, two and six courts. Riverside Tennis Center qualifies on the City's own line, "9 outdoors with court lights for night play". Edgemoor is on the indoor page as well, because the Recreation Centers tab lists "Edgemoor / 5815 E 9th Street / 3 courts" at the same address as the park's twelve; the two lines publish as one venue with a count on each side. Riverside is on both pages too. Sherwood Glen is the last line of the Parks tab, "1 striped without net (portable net required)", with no street line where every other park has one, and a venue without an address does not publish. The heading's "hard / concrete" puts no surface on any venue here: it is one sentence over four parks, and which park has which is not stated.

What is deliberately not on this list
Nothing with only indoor courts appears here. Venues whose outdoor court count the operator does not state are also absent, because we do not assume a court is outdoor because we have not been told otherwise.
Questions about this list
Which outdoor courts in Wichita have lights?
Riverside Tennis Center's nine, in the City's words "with court lights for night play". Edgemoor, Buffalo, Osage and Seneca carry no lighting statement either way, so they are recorded as not stated.
What are the hours at the outdoor courts?
Not stated. The City prints no opening or closing time for any of its four parks or for Riverside, so this site cannot say whether any of them closes at sunset.
Are the outdoor courts free?
Not stated. The City's one sentence on cost, "Some can be reserved for a small fee while others are first-come-first-serve", does not name a venue. This site does not assume a park court is free.
